Just a reminder for all staff and volunteers to please ensure your I.D. badge and lanyard are visible at all times upon entering the building and when in the galleries

In order for Protection Services staff to be vigilant about the safety of the staff and the collection, they need to be able to quickly identify authorized and unauthorized persons in the building. This is especially critical if you are in gallery spaces after hours.

Please note that it is difficult to distinguish authorized staff when badges are worn on clothing or belts.

Guests need to be with an authorized staff member at all times, and that staff member’s I.D. and lanyard should be prominent – on their clothing, not in their hand or pocket – so they can be easily identified.
