Prints & Drawings Talk for April: Jack Nichols: A Singular Canadian Artist

The second Friday of every month, one of P&D’s knowledgeable volunteers will give a talk that explores an area of the AGO’s P&D Collection. This month: Jack Nichols: A Singular Canadian Artist

Talk by: Edith Layne
Date: Friday, April 13
Time: 11 am (arrive at 10:30 to view works on display!)

Jack Nichols is widely known for the paintings and drawings done during his 3 years as a War Artist in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. These works are in the Canadian War Museum.  The Friday Talk this month will focus on prints and drawings in the AGO Collection from both before and after the war years.

Looking forward to another wonderful presentation by Edith, a long time volunteer in Prints and Drawings. Mark your calendar for next Friday, April 13th!

Please note: Attendance at P&D talks can reach full capacity in the Study Centre. Volunteers, please keep in mind that seating is given to our visitors first.
