Dear Staff & Volunteer Colleagues,
What’s happening?
· Thank you to everyone who signed up for the staff and volunteer previews for Yayoi Kusama: Infinity Mirrors. We had over 570 of you sign up to see the show before the public.
· We have evaluated our capacity for the exhibition and are pleased to be able to offer two additional days of viewings for staff and volunteers, Sunday March 11, 5:30 – 8 pm and Sunday April 15, 5:30 – 8 pm.
· Registration opens tomorrow, Wednesday, February 21 and submissions will be accepted until Wednesday February 28 at midnight.
How do I sign up for the new viewings?
· Sign up at www.ago.ca/kusama-viewing and include your contact information before February 28 at midnight.
· You will be asked to indicate which day you’d like to attend.
· If you are out of the office during the sign-up period, you can:
o Access the link from home – you do not need to have an AGO email address to submit.
When will I receive my viewing confirmation?
· You will be notified on Friday March 2 via email with instructions for your visit.
· You will also be assigned a timeslot to attend the show. Please make sure that you arrive at the Atrium 10 minutes before the timeslot.
· We’ll make every effort to ensure you can attend on your preferred day, but depending on capacity, we may have to place you on another day.
I already signed up for the February 26/27 previews. Can I sign up again?
· No. We have added these additional dates so those staff and volunteers who were unable to get a time slot for the February 26/27 dates can have an opportunity to see the exhibition.
Will I have another opportunity to see the exhibition?
· These will be the last viewings available to staff and volunteers, so please make sure to take the time to see this remarkable exhibition!
· As a reminder for this exhibition, we will not be able to accommodate ‘anytime access’ with your ID badge. There will be no friends or family passes.
