Hello Everyone,

• A big thank you to those who worked last Sunday, a very busy final day of the GDT exhibition, for helping to ensure it ended on a high note. It is wonderful to see a Toronto-based artist have such a significant draw. It looks like both GDT and O’Keeffe exhibitions from this fiscal year will be among the top 10 most attended shows at the AGO, along with last year’s Mystical Landscapes. We’re on a roll!
• This week we learned that our funding from the Canada Council will increase considerably over the next two years. This is great news for the Gallery and is a reflection of the quality of our Contemporary exhibitions and programs. Thanks to all of you who participated in writing and assembling the grant.
• Make a point of visiting the re-installed Philip B. Lind Galleries on the main floor. Part of Look:Forward, the spaces feature significant modern masterworks.
• Finally – be safe on the commute home tonight!
