The AGO Collection is now available online, supporting the AGO’s commitment to art, access and learning and providing unprecedented access to over 3000 objects currently on display as part of Look:Forward.

Using the award-winning prototype developed for Small Wonders: Gothic Boxwood Miniatures, we developed this site, which features high-resolution images and the ability to deep zoom and compare objects from all of our collecting areas

The collection site simplifies the process for delivering digital experiences in the Gallery and online, providing many opportunities for future use.

• We’ll continue to add new objects to the collection as things rotate in the galleries, while also creating a new section for recent acquisitions.
• In a future update of the site, we’ll integrate interpretative data such as videos and links to blog posts; and a feature that will allow visitors to create personal collections.
• Data in the online collection and new website will form the foundation of a new AGO app that the Web Team will begin developing in 2018. Stay tuned!
