The Volunteer Executive is proud to present a special Artist Talk with Artist Steve Driscoll, in conversation Bill Clarke, Angell Gallery

  • Tuesday October 24
  • 6:30pm – 8:00pm
  • in Jackman Hall
  • no RSVP required
  • Join us in the volunteer lounge for coffee, tea and treats prior to the talk, beginning at 5:00pm

Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Toronto Artist Steve Driscoll, landscape painter and modern alchemist. Hear how he built a 2,000 gallon lake inside a Toronto Art Gallery! His recent exhibitions include Steve Driscoll + Finn O’Hara: Size Matters, at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. This talk is generously supported through funds from the Bursary Trust.

Why not make an afternoon of it? Alexa Griest, Assistant Curator, Prints & Drawings, has offered to give tours of the Prints & Drawings Study Centre, leading up to the Artist Talk.  Two tours are available, one at 3:30pm, and another at 4:15pm. No RSVP is required. Please meet in the volunteer lounge. (These talks are given in thanks for AGO volunteers’ support of the Prints & Drawings Department, via last year’s Volunteer Executive Trust donation).

We have posted a beautiful big poster in the volunteer lounge with more information.

We look forward to seeing you there!
