Weekly Update from our Director and CEO

Hello everyone,

  • An interesting story with a connection to our Lodz Ghetto exhibition will be featured on CBS Sunday Morning this weekend  – when the exhibition first opened at the AGO, visitor Krysia Rosenstein was surprised to discover a picture of her parents included in the exhibition – the first photo of them she had ever seen. Before you watch, take a look at the AGOinsider story that details her experience.
  • The revitalized Grange Park involved many, many people and was literally years in the making – more than 8 – but don’t you think it feels like a natural part of the AGO experience?
  • The multi-use space in the new South Entrance looks great and will continue to take shape as it is used for PP&L programming and other activities in the coming months. And if you haven’t visited the library lately, now is the time to pop in and get re-acquainted.
  • Kudos to Jim Shedden and the publications team, who have been busy generating new catalogues for Every. Now. Then. and Rita Letendre – copies are available in the staff and volunteer lounges and for sale in shopAGO, be sure to check them out.
