Welcome to our new Volunteer Executive – Introducing Catherine Morelli, Secretary

Catherine Morelli

The Volunteer Executive Committee (VEC) welcomed four new members this spring.   We’ll be profiling them over the next few weeks so you can get to know the people who are representing you.  We’ve asked them each a few questions about themselves.  This week we hear from Catherine Morelli, Information Guide, and new VEC Secretary.

What or who brought you to the AGO as a volunteer?
The visual arts have played an important part in my life, and to immerse in the work of the great masters each week is a gift. I applied to volunteer online, through the volunteer page on the AGO website (http://www.ago.net/volunteer-opportunities)

What area do you volunteer in and for how long?
An Information Guide since January 2016, I will be transitioning to Gallery Guide in October 2016.

What is the part you like best about being a volunteer at the AGO?
Having a visitor say thank you for making their visit memorable.

Why did you want to join the Volunteer Executive?
It an exciting time to be  involved with the AGO, and as a member of the VE, I hope in some small way to help create change through art.

Thanks Catherine!  Stay tuned for more profiles!
