Hello Everyone,

• At Wednesday’s Town Hall I told several stories and gave examples of things we do very well at the AGO. I have these experiences every day. I shared my observation that we have a culture that says “we did well but”. Sometimes all we need to say is “we did well”. Think of stories you want to tell.

• The Hon. Catherine McKenna, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, visited the Harris show yesterday. Andrew happened to be in the exhibition and he and the minister shared a great conversation about raising environmental awareness through art. (See photo below.)

• Today I am visiting the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa and meeting with director Marc Mayer. I’ve never been before and I’m excited about viewing the art – I plan to spend several hours wandering through the galleries. It will be a real treat.
