Hello Volunteers,
We are planning a number of internal and external initiatives to introduce Stephan to the Gallery’s staff, trustees and volunteers, our members and visitors, donors and artists, key stakeholders and to the city (we’ll keep you posted).
First up, welcoming Stephan on his first day!
Staff and Volunteers are invited to join us on Monday, April 18 from 9:00 to 10:00am in Walker Court for a Surprise Event! Our goal is to fill both the first floor and the second floor mezzanine with people to give him a warm AGO welcome. The more the merrier! This is by no means mandatory, but will be fun! Please join us if you can!
Stephan and his family are new to Toronto, and there is much to see and do.
We want to provide him with a list of some uniquely Toronto experiences so that he can get to know our city as quickly as possible – and have some fun in the process. We’ve posted an envelope in the volunteer lounge for you to share your ideas. We’ll combine your recommendations with those of staff, and provide him with a list of the top 3-5 ideas when he gets here on the 18th. Stephan will share his adventures on our AGO social media platforms. Stay tuned!
