One of Canada’s leading contemporary artists, Charles Pachter is a painter, printmaker, sculptor, designer, historian, and lecturer.

His iconic pop images of the queen, the moose, and the maple leaf flag celebrate Canada’s cultural heritage with wit and whimsy.

An Officer of the Order of Canada, Pachter has held solo exhibitions around the world.

Alan Toff, a beloved visual arts instructor, taught at the School of Continuing Studies for more than 30 years.

Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, Alan’s legacy lives on in the Alan Toff Art Lecture.
