Diana Goliss

After 14 years at the AGO, Diana Goliss, Manager, Organizational Development in Staff & Volunteer Resources, has decided to leave the Gallery. Her last day is Friday, June 14, 2013.
Diana joined the AGO in 1999 as Manager, Communication, Recognition and Training, when the integration of staff and volunteers was a new institutional commitment. During her time here, she was responsible for staff recruitment and general HR services to various client groups in addition to managing the volunteer resources, staff and volunteer recognition, and corporate training programs.
Recruiting staff and volunteers for two significant events – the opening of Transformation AGO and the King Tut exhibition – was one of Diana’s many challenging and successful undertakings. Through her direction, our volunteers resources management program has changed into today’s highly successful program.
Diana has collaborated with numerous colleagues throughout the institution. Diana has worked with managers, staff and volunteers to identify and develop solutions that made the Gallery a better place to work.
Diana has led recruitment and orientation programs, AODA and, most recently, performance management training sessions. She has also struck committees for annual parties, barbecues, and staff and volunteer exhibition previews and tours.
A farewell celebration for Diana will be scheduled shortly. Please stay tuned for details.
