Introducing Your New Volunteer Badges …

That orange badge (first lanyard from top) is yours. Hope you love them, volunteers!

They’re here!

Volunteer badges are rolling out slowly, group-by-group. If you don’t have yours yet, please be patient! Your departmental coordinators will be distributing them in the days and weeks ahead.

Most importantPlease do not throw out your current badge! You will be re-using your current and simply replacing/updating the photo and lanyard.

This helpful graphic will lead you through updating your badge. (We’ve posted these graphics in the lounge). When in doubt, ask a fellow volunteer or AGO employee for help. You can also see Holly Procktor, or any of our team of departmental coordinators for an in-person tutorial.

We know you can do it!

This is your new AGO volunteer badge package:  2 new photo faceplate stickers, 1 plastic sleeve, and 1 new art lanyard

Remove/carefully peel off your current photo faceplate sticker from your current badge. Make sure to keep your badge (you will need it – do not throw it out!) Discard your old purple lanyard and old photo faceplate sticker, keeping just the hard-backed badge

You have been provided with 2 new, identical photo faceplate stickers

You are now going to replace the old photo faceplate stickers with your new stickers (one on each side)

Peel protective backing from each photo faceplate sticker, and stick one sticker on each side of your existing badge. You should now have a two-sided identical photo faceplate badge (tah-dah!)

Slip your new badge into your new protective plastic sleeve, and attach your new lanyard. Wear with pride!
