Hello everyone,
- This week is National Volunteer Week across Canada. A very BIG thank you to all of our volunteers for your enthusiasm, care and commitment to making the AGO a special place for our visitors. Thank you also to our Volunteer Coordinators and our other employees who provided educational talks, activities and baked goods this week to recognize our volunteers.
- A reminder about scented products at the AGO – exposure to perfumes and other scented products can trigger serious reactions from colleagues and visitors with health or chemical sensitivities. We should all be aware of how we can help. Please take a moment to review the attached FAQ document, also available on dARTboard.
- Last night, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of Massive Party, our annual fundraiser for the under-fortyish crowd. It was a great party with lots of media coverage. Led by Advancement, pretty much everyone from across the gallery is involved in some way and I enjoyed seeing many employees at the event last night. Congratulations to all involved, and thank you to the ticket buyers, co-chairs and volunteer committee, Director X and Massive artists, and sponsors for their amazing support.
