After 8 years with the AGO, Sasha has been appointed the Director and CEO of the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa.

Since her arrival at the AGO in 2011, Sasha has left an indelible mark on the Gallery through her vision, scholarship, thoughtfulness and determination. Her commitment to creating accessible and compelling experiences for audiences has led to many successful exhibitions over her time here. In keeping with Sasha’s commitment to focusing on great art, we will have a selection of prints and drawings on view in the Study Centre during the gathering.

The opportunity to lead the National Gallery will allow Sasha to help to shape the cultural landscape of Canada at its flagship museum.

Sasha’s last day at the AGO is March 4.
