The second Friday of every month, one of P&D’s knowledgeable volunteers will give a talk that explores an area of the AGO’s P&D Collection.

George WHO? This month’s Prints & Drawings talk will focus on photographs by George Hunter (1921–2013), perhaps Canada’s most viewed (his images have appeared on Canadian currency) but least recognized name in photography. A documentary photographer who spent seven decades capturing industrial and natural scenes on film, Hunter’s passion and artistry shaped perceptions of ourselves and our landscapes. A fascinating complement to the upcoming Anthropocene exhibition!
