Hello Everyone,

• The front of the building was recently power washed and looks terrific. Thank you to those who take such good care of maintaining our big facility.

 

• I am away from the museum today through next Thursday – beginning in Vancouver where I’ll be attending an exhibition opening of paintings by Kerry James Marshall at the Rennie Museum tonight; then on to Regina and Saskatoon for the annual Canadian Art Museum Directors Organization conference. I hope to learn a lot and look forward to exploring the Prairies, where I’ve never been before.

 

• If you haven’t already planned any vacation time yet this year, get to it! It is important to take time away from work – everyone needs the mental break and time to refresh.
