Hello Everyone,
- Tonight is the 5th anniversary of the launch of First Thursdays. Since 2012, more than 120,000 people have attended. First Thursdays does an extraordinary job connecting our community – it’s where artists, performers and the public all come together. I can scarcely think of a single person at the AGO who hasn’t been involved – literally, hundreds of you have made contributions. Thank you! Once again, First Thursdays is sold out tonight.
- I enjoyed handing out At Home with Monsters posters to the throngs of people who attended Nuit Blanche last weekend. More than 18,000 people viewed works in the main level galleries and took in Will Kwan’s group performance in Walker Court. Thank you to everyone who contributed to a safe, wonderful evening.
- Tomorrow I will be away from the Gallery visiting the Allen Memorial Art Museum at Oberlin College in Ohio. I am giving a talk for their 100th
