What: Mythology and Spirituality

Throughout the ages, artists have attempted to depict the ineffable, finding inspiration in legends, myths and spiritual traditions. We will view sculptural artifacts stemming from ancient cultures, seventeenth century allegorical art, a nineteenth century romantic legend, and modern and contemporary depictions of transformation.
