Hello Everyone,

• Earlier this week, I walked through the collection galleries and the GDT exhibition. The galleries were clean, well lit and inviting. Thank you to Facility Services staff for maintaining these spaces at a very high level, especially when there are numerous evening and weekend events to clean up after.

• I am giving a talk today at the National Docent Symposium in Montreal. Thank you, Volunteers, for everything you do for the Art Gallery of Ontario! I enjoyed spending time at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts yesterday and had a great visit with the director and chief curator, Nathalie Bondil. I always appreciate connecting with leaders of other museums. MMFA does a good job of attracting large annual attendances.

• Next week, we open the Sandra Meigs: Room for Mystics and Florine Stettheimer: Painting Poetry exhibitions. Please be sure to take a moment when you can and visit these extraordinary installations.
