Hello Everyone,

• Pretty much every staff member had a role to play this week with the launch of Guillermo del Toro: At Home with Monsters – from the press preview to the Curators’ Circle and Members’ openings to the book signing. THANK YOU everyone for contributing to an exceptional experience for our public. If you haven’t had a chance to visit the monsters in our building, do so soon!

• We had a special visitor this week. Ai Weiwei visited the AGO on Wednesday. It was a pleasure to introduce him to some of the people who worked on Ai Weiwei: According to What?. He is a very generous person and loved GDT.

• I am looking forward to Nuit Blanche tomrrow night and Will Kwan’s performance at the AGO. An effort like this takes a lot of planning and coordination. Thank you to those who will be here greeting 24,000 visitors throughout the night! My shift starts at 10:30pm.
