Hello Everyone,

• The European reinstallation is in progress. I’m thrilled that visitors have a sight line that features great sculptures by Rodin and Rembrandt. It is a team effort that required moving some pretty massive work.

• I’m pleased to report that the search for a new chief curator is going well – I spoke to the recruiters on Tuesday and the candidates are of a very high calibre.

• I was saddened to hear the news about Patricia Koenig, a long-serving Protection Services Officer who passed away last week. My thoughts are with her family, friends, colleagues and loved ones.

• Earlier this week, we also lost Marilyn Thomson, wife of Ken Thomson. No doubt some of you will remember Marilyn visiting the AGO on many occasions, especially during Transformation AGO. I will attend her memorial service next week and express condolences to the Thomson family.
