All Staff and Volunteers are invited to celebrate and congratulate Katharine Lochnan on her remarkable career at the AGO as she begins her retirement.

Friday, March 3
3-5 pm
Baillie Court (third floor event space)

Kathy’s contributions to the Gallery have shaped the AGO immeasurably. Notably, Kathy led the development of the foremost collection of European Prints and Drawings in Canada. Her reputation and expertise have led to significant international partnerships with museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the British Museum, Tate Britain, the Musée d’Orsay and the Dulwich Picture Gallery.

Although she has officially retired, Katharine is working on contract for the AGO as Senior Curator, International Exhibitions, until the closing of Mystical Landscapes at the Musée d’Orsay at the end of June. After this, Kathy will be appointed Senior Curator, Emerita, an honorary designation that recognizes her 47 years of distinguished service to the Gallery, as well as her extraordinary academic and professional accomplishments. She will continue to be closely engaged with us as a friend of the Gallery.
