Hello Everyone,

• This week, I continued to meet with various AGO staff to better understand Gallery functions such as Publishing (Jim Shedden) and Food & Beverage (Carlos Mera and the F&B team). I’ve spent time with many of you since my arrival 7 months and I look forward getting to know more staff from all areas of the Gallery.

• It’s been 8 years since Transformation AGO opened. As we look ahead to the future, it is good time to consider the AGO 10 years from now, and how we can adapt to a growing, diverse city and ever-changing world. On Wednesday, we started the conversation with the Board of Trustees about where the Gallery sees itself in the decade ahead. There will be more discussion over the coming months with trustees and staff alike.

• The retail shop is buzzing with shoppers during Members’ Shopping Days!

• I am in Vancouver today meeting with colleagues from the Vancouver Art Gallery and other collectors. Next week, I return to Hawaii for American Thanksgiving and a few vacation days. See you back at the AGO on November 28th.
