Hello Everyone,

• Stephanie Smith and I met with the curators this week to hear about their selections for the reinstallation. We are trying to solve the problem of having too many great things for the spaces available – it is a good problem to have. I am particularly excited about featuring art works in public spaces such as Maxine Granovsky & Ira Gluskin Hall, Walker Court, and the Joey & Toby Tanenbaum Sculpture Atrium.

• Work has started on the changes in Maxine Granovsky & Ira Gluskin Hall (ticketing area). A new long desk will be created along the west wall to replace the large desks in the centre. We will also have sculpture in the space. This is an idea that was developed by folks who work in the space. Thanks!

• On Monday, I’ll be in Montreal visiting colleagues at the McCord Museum, the Canadian Centre for Architecture, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
