The AGO is pleased to co-present two artworks, Legacy by Jérôme Havre and a new performance by Rebecca Belmore at this year’s Nuit Blanche.

Join us for on the dot tours and a visit to the new exhibition, Toronto: Tributes + Tributaries, 1971-1989, while experiencing contemporary new works alongside the AGO’s permanent collection and exhibitions located on the main floor and the Weston Family Learning Centre.

World-renowned multi-disciplinary artist, Rebecca Belmore will enact a new durational performance in Walker Court. Belmore has earned international acclaim, notably at the Venice Biennale’s Canadian Pavilion in 2005 where she was the first Indigenous woman to represent Canada.

Jérôme Havre‘s Legacy guides audiences through a visit of the AGO’s galleries in a new and unexpected way – GIF animations feature puppets modelled after notable black art historians, culture critics and key art figures of colour from across time.
