Hello Everyone,

• On Wednesday evening, the AGO was bustling with guests. We had 6,500 people come through (a record!) to enjoy the new Theaster Gates exhibition. It is a high quality and ambitious project – thank you to everyone who worked on this show for bringing it all together.

• Also on Wednesday, the AGO hosted the announcement of Ontario’s first Culture Strategy. The fact that the AGO was asked to host the event shows the strength of our relationship with the province. I’ve also enjoyed meeting with other elected officials lately at the municipal and federal levels.

• Make sure you enjoy the summer!  I will be away next week on vacation and will be back in touch early August.
