Hello Everyone,

• I have an upcoming meeting about the re-configuration of Maxine Granovsky & Ira Gluskin Hall to make it a more welcoming place for visitors. I admit that I lifted ideas generated by a staff member (which were shared with me by a Protection Service Officer during one of my 1-on-1 sessions).

• I’m glad that the Henry Moore Sculpture Centre is re-opened. It is a wonderful blend of architecture, space, and great art.

• Rocco, Alicia (Leadership Team members) and I are having discussions about the price of membership and admission. We are a bit away from making a decision but will include staff before we make any final choices. Please don’t fret and keep moving ahead as usual.

• I attended a speech by Minister of Canadian Heritage Mélanie Jolie at the Economic Club yesterday. She spoke of the cultural sector as an economic driver, particularly the intersection of culture and technology. She realizes our world is changing fast and wants to support institutions that are willing to adapt.
