NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK 2015

Sunday April 12 – Saturday April 18

A volunteer action is like a stone thrown in a lake: its effect has a direct impact. At the same time, like ripples, volunteer efforts reach out far and wide to improve communities. (Graphic and text: Volunteer Canada)

National Volunteer Week is a week-long celebration where registered charities, not-for-profit organizations, and volunteer centres pause to thank and recognize their volunteers.

Here at the Gallery, we’re busily preparing  new programming exclusively for you, our volunteers, that celebrates the ideas and innovations of folks working behind-the-scenes, where volunteers rarely get to go.

cafeAGO is generously donating coffee for the week, and we’ll have some extra treats on hand, as well.

Watch your inbox for details – our program will be distributed in early April!
