‘Tis the season to celebrate! GG Lourdes Betancourt shares a recent holiday event:
The Evening and Weekend Gallery guides had our annual Holiday Party on Tuesday, December the 2nd. Jean hosted at her cozy home and Cathy and Katherine, the Co-chairs, did a great job organizing this event. Many contributed to the potluck a variety of dishes of different colours, shapes, flavours and all of them were delicious. There were lots of laughs and talking, and we also met some new gallery guides.
In addition, there were two special twists to the event: The Art Book Swap was a lot of fun – there were so many good books to choose from! Doris Van den Breckel (Former Program Coordinator, Volunteer Training) attended as our Honoured Guest. It was great to see her again.
Thank you to our Co-chair, Cathy, whose diligence, kindness and organization definitely added to the success of our holiday Party. Thank you Joan, Michael and Ian, for arriving early and staying late to help out, it was very much appreciated.
