Dear Volunteers,
What is happening?
- In response to visitor feedback following our extended Friday night hours on May 9, we have decided to cancel our June 6 and July 11 dates.
- Visitors will still be able to take advantage of the AGO’s extended hours on Wednesday evenings and our monthly First Thursdays.
Why are you no longer holding Friday evenings in June and July?
- We did not have the turnout that we hoped for on May 9 but have gained valuable insights about next steps.
- With summer rapidly approaching and lots of events beginning in Toronto, we believe there will be more opportunities for us to proceed with testing extended hours in the fall.
- Holding Friday public access evenings in the fall will also allow us more time to get the public aware of this access and to get them excited to come.
