What is happening?

• Starting December 23, caféAGO will no longer be offering free coffee and tea to staff and volunteers on Mondays.

• We are also discontinuing the offer of a free small coffee Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00am – 10:30am and 4:30pm – 5:00pm  with the purchase of $2.50 or more.

• In its place, staff and volunteers who bring their own reusable mugs during regular café hours will be able to buy coffee or tea for $1 plus tax.
• This new promotion will begin on January 1.

Why the change?

• Offering free coffee and tea on Mondays was unfortunately not cost effective in the long run.
• The new reduced price for reusable mug users will benefit a larger group of staff and volunteers and provide a low cost option for coffee and tea throughout the week.
• This change will also allow the café to promote greener, reusable options and reduce the waste of paper cups.
