June talks: Marvin Gelber Print and Drawing Centre

Once again in June, the AGO’s Marvin Gelber Print and Drawing Study Centre (“P&D”) offers two presentations in its regular series, Striking Impressions. (The other series, Close Encounters, has now ended for the season.)

 

Striking Impressions – Friday talks by volunteers

11 a.m. – noon; drop in; no charge

  • June 14, Relief Printmaking: the Canadian Landscape and its People (Part 1)
  • June 28, Relief Printmaking: the Canadian Landscape and its People (Part 2 — with demo)

Established printmaker and P&D volunteer Ortansa Moraru  will be the presenter for both talks. In Part 2 on June 28, she will also give a practical demonstration of the art.
